After your hike, head to Saguaro National Park to see the majestic saguaro cactuses up close. You can take a scenic drive or go on a short hike to immerse yourself in the natural beauty. For lunch, stop by a local brewery or pub to sample some of Tucson’s craft beers. In the afternoon, visit the Pima Air & Space Museum, which displays a collection of vintage aircraft and space artifacts. It’s a fascinating place for aviation enthusiasts. Later in the day, unwind at one of Tucson’s spas and treat yourself to a relaxing massage or spa treatment.
Day 3: Cultural Experiences
On your final day, start by visiting the Tohono O’odham Nation Cultural Center and Museum to learn about the local Native American culture. Explore the exhibits and perhaps catch a cultural performance. Next, head to the University of Arizona, where you can visit the Arizona State Museum. It has a wide range of exhibits on Arizona’s history, art, and science. For lunch, try some authentic Mexican cuisine at a local taqueria. In the afternoon, check out the Barrio Historico, Tucson’s historic Mexican neighborhood. Wander the streets, admire the colorful murals, and maybe visit a local shop or gallery. Before leaving Tucson, make sure to stop by a local ice cream shop for a sweet treat to end your trip on a high note.
